Apple menu → About This Mac. A line starting with Chip means Apple Silicon; Processor means Intel. Every Mac sold since late 2020 is Apple Silicon.

Installing

Open the .dmg
Double-click the file you just downloaded.

Drag to Applications
Drop the Decato icon into your Applications folder.

Right-click → Open
On the first launch only. Then confirm, and macOS remembers it.
The right-click on first launch is macOS asking about an app downloaded outside the App Store. Double-clicking instead shows a warning with no Open button — that is Gatekeeper, not a failed download.
